Educational Background:

  Undergraduate Degree-Hope College
    BA degree in special education learning disabilities
  Some graduate work at Grand Valley State University
    and Butler University
  Currently taking classes at Oakland to receive
    an endorsement in Autistically impaired

Teaching Experience:

I taught in Michigan on the west side of the state for 3 years before moving to Indiana. I was a learning disabilities coordinator in Indiana for 4 years before moving back to Michigan and taking some time off to be with my children.

On a personal note...

I love teaching and even though I was not in the classroom for a while I was a personal tutor in my home for many years trained in Orton-Gillingham. I have three children at home all of which are in school now. I live in Commerce Township and enjoy watching my children's sporting events on weekends and catching up on a good book.
