St. William Catholic School is committed to developing young people who know their faith, proclaim it in life, and are academically strong.

Dear Parents:
The year cannot end without thanking each and every one of you for your support, encouragement, and participation. The family community in this school and parish is one of the most incredible ones that could possibly be. I thank you for all that you do and wish each family a restful and safe summer.
As you probably already know, you can contact us at anytime throughout the summer by either leaving a message on our answering machine or by emailing us. We will check both on a very regular basis and will be glad to assist you in any way. Our website will also be up and running as usual. Do visit that for such things as calendars, uniform policy, etc.
I did want to announce that our current third grade teacher, Mrs. Christina DelPizzo, will not be retuning to St. William in the fall. She has accepted a new position at another Catholic school that is located near to her home. We wish her the very best and thank her for her contribution to our school and to her students. We will hold her and her family in prayer and am sure that we will be hearing from her as she begins her new journey.
I will be waiting until the later part of the summer to make any decisions related to teacher placement. I will gather with my faculty, look at the needs of each of them and the students in their classrooms, and make the decisions that are needed after that. It will also help to be rested and away from the hectic pace of school a bit before this critical decisions are made. I am hopeful that our remaining faculty will return with us as each are such a gift to their students. When we know teacher placement, we will certainly pass the information along to you.
Again, enjoy your families and some rest during these next couple of months. I’m sure that I will see many of you as we come back and forth to events during the summer. Until then, do know of my continued prayers for each of you.
God bless,
Linda Jackson
Thank You Seventh Grade: I wanted to take this opportunity to thank our seventh grade families and students for their incredible efforts in making our 8th grade graduation such a wonderful event. The Activity Center was transformed into such a lovely room that allowed our graduating class and their families and guests to come together in celebration. For all of the subcommittees that met throughout this year to coordinate the many facets of this event- THANK YOU. For the hours that were put in by so many to set up and then clean up after graduation- THANK YOU. For our 7th grade students who did such an elegant job serving and taking care of our guests- THANK YOU. All of you did a superb job.
Welcome New School Committee Members: Three new members will be joining our School Committee for the 2008/09 school year. We welcome Suzanne Squier, Marie Betley, and Denise Danti. We thank you for coming forward to serve our school in this capacity. We thank those who will be leaving after fulfilling their three year commitment- Stuart Feravich and Tracy McIlroy. We appreciate all that you did for our school. Peg Convery, whose term is also complete this year, will be staying on to fill Tom Rudofski’s term. Tom has taken on the position of Dads’ Club President and therefore resigning his School Committee position. Thank you again to everyone!!!
Marketing Help: Last week, we sent a letter to our families concerning our upcoming marketing sub-committees and the need for assistance with them. This has been a year-long effort on the part of School Committee to evaluate our needs and then to put a plan in place with regards to the marketing of our school. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!! It was our hope for the sub-committees to meet through the summer months and then be ready to put the plans into action in the fall. Please consider joining us for this effort. Service in this area can go towards your “Parent Involvement Hours” and can be done outside of the school day. As of today, the following parents have volunteered: Kim Micallef, Laura Pace, Tracy McIlroy, and Jouman Alexander. Please let us know if you can help and which sub-committee is your preference. School Committee members will be serving on each sub-committee and will help you with the process.
New School Year: We look forward to the many changes in the physical “plant” of our school building. We are projecting at this point that the school will be open on September 2nd for our families to come in to see their new classrooms. You are welcome to come from 1-3 p.m. on that day.
weight of past sin so we can rise to be with you and with all the good you have created. Hos 6:3-6 Rom 4:18-25 Matt 9:9-13
